Obituary for Evyonne Adams
Evyonne Adams, daughter of the late Codell and Zola Sizemore Gibson was born February 6, 1954 in Whitesburg, Kentucky. She entered eternal life Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at the Rockcastle Regional Hospital in Mt. Vernon, Kentucky being 66 years, 5 months and 22 days of age at the time of her passing.
Evyonne married Hattler Adams June 16, 1975 in Clintwood, Virginia. He passed away April 10, 2015. She was a member of the Church Of The Nazarene in Whitesburg, Kentucky. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends especially her grandchildren. She was and avid Cincinnati Reds fan and enjoyed playing softball.
She is survived by two sons; Chris Adams of Whitesburg, Kentucky and Todd Adams of Columbia, South Carolina. Five brothers; Thomas Gibson of Premium, Kentucky, Alex Gibson of Whitesburg, Kentucky, Codell Gibson of Whitesburg, Kentucky, Morris Gibson of Colson, Kentucky and William Gibson of Jenkins, Kentucky. Three sisters; Ruth Shepherd of Whitesburg, Kentucky, Caldonia Adams of Whitesburg, Kentucky and Rita Collins of Ice, Kentucky. Six grandchildren; Braden, Madison, Dawson, Chase, Kahlan, Terra.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Hattler Adams. Three brothers; Bill Gibson, Alfred Gibson and Marty Gibson. One sister, Mary Nelson.
