Obituary for Everett Leebo Gibson
Everett "Leebo" Gibson, son of Mary Jane Tyree Adams and the late Alvin Adams was born December 27, 1950 in Detroit, Michigan. He entered eternal life Saturday, June 11, 2016 at the Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, Kentucky being 65 years, 5 months and 25 days of age at the time of his passing.
He was a heavy equipment operator for years. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend to all that knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Towonna Gibson of Isom, Kentucky. His mother, Mary Jane Adams of Dry Fork, Kentucky. One son, Christopher Lee (Sandy) Gibson of Grammer, Indiana. Two daughters, Joyce Ann (Tony) Goff of North Vernon, Indiana, Amy Elizabeth (Jake) Burgmeier of Georgia. One stepdaughter, Tracey (Wallace) Mullins of Pound, Virginia. Two sisters; Mary Linda (Merl) Holbrook of Dryfork, Kentucky and Nancy Scott of Highpoint, North Carolina. Seven grandchildren; Michaela, Dakota, Anna, Samantha, Michael, Tre and Emilee. A special niece, Mildred Faye Bare.
Also surviving are a host of other special nieces, nephews, friends and relatives to mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by two sisters; Mildred Blake and Milos Bare.
