Obituary for Evelyn Mae Vanhosse
Evelyn Mae Vanhoose, daughter of the late Raymond and Julia Combs Rash was born in Seco, Kentucky March 24, 1929. She entered eternal life Saturday, December 15, 2012 at the Letcher Manor Nursing Home in Whitesburg, Kentucky being 83 years, 8 months and 21 days of age at the time of her passing. Evelyn married Joe Vanhoose in Paintsville, Kentucky July 21, 1949. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family and friends. Evelyn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and a great friend to all that knew her. She is survived by her loving husband, Joe Vanhoose of Seco, Kentucky. A daughter, Valerie Vanhoose Spangler of Seco, Kentucky. A grandaughter, Ashley Nicole and husband Robbie Mullins of Jenkins, Kentucky. One brother, Tim and wife Connie Rash of Athens, Georgia. A sister, Betty Sue and husband Grady Tumlin of Alexandria, Virginia. Also surviving are a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Evelyn was preceded in death by a daughter, Marsha Vanhoose, A sister, Mary Vance. One brother, Ray Rash.
