Evelyn shared her life with the late Graham Kincer for 59 years until his passing on May 27, 2000. She was an avid reader and loved to keep up with current events. She loved Letcher County and closely followed the local news. She had a green thumb and loved to make things grow. She was an excellent cook and the crowd was never to big to feed. Her church was her second family. She was never happier than in church singing one of the hundreds of gospel songs she loved so well. She never met a stranger.
She is survived by three sons; Randall (Bonnie) Kincer, Stephen Kincer and David Kincer, six daughters: Joyceleen (Paul) Adams, Margaret (Bob) Fisher, Carolyn (Jerry) Short, Sheila Kincer, LaDonna Kincer, and Kim (Ken) Miles, and one brother, J.B.
