Obituary for Ethel Sergent
Ethel Sergent, daughter of the late Ira and Eliza Bates Collins was born at Colson, Kentucky, October 2, 1922. She entered eternal life Friday, September 27, 2024 at her residence in Kodak, Tennessee being 101 years, 11 months and 25 days of age at the time of her passing.
Ethel was married to the late Frank Morris Sergent, he passed away June 6, 2003. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend to all that knew her. Ethel really enjoyed being involved in Politics and helping veterans in any way she could.
She is survived by her son, Ira (Adelma) Sergent of Kodak, Tennessee, a granddaughter, Eliza Marie Sergent also of Kodak, Tennessee.
Also surviving are a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Ethel was preceded in death by three sisters, Violet, Gaynell and Hermagene, seven brothers, Robert, Claude, Otis, Ben, Paul, J.B. and Arthur.
