Obituary for Ernie Lee PettyJohn
Ernie Lee Pettyjohn, son of the late James and Elsie Sweeny Pettyjohn was born in Payne Gap, Kentucky, November 20, 1949. He entered eternal life Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at his residence in Jenkins, Kentucky being 75 years, two months and twenty four days of age at the time of his passing.
Ernie married Phyllis Johnson. She passed away April 12, 2023.He was a loving father, grandfather and great friend to all that knew him. He enjoyed driving around and visiting his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving daughter, Tracy (randy) Church of Payne Gap, Kentucky, a son, Bobby Lee Pettyjohn of Payne Gap, Kentucky.
Also surviving are three grandchildren, Courtney (Dylan) Pugh, Sara Craft and Donovan Pettyjohn and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
He is preceded in death by a son, Wesley Pettyjohn and a daughter Kimberly Pettyjohn.
