Elbert Lee, son of the late Allen and Dallas Bates Lee was born in Kona, Kentucky, June 17, 1941. He entered eternal life Sunday, August 2, 2020 at his residence in Whitesburg, Kentucky being 79 years, 1 month and 15 days of age at the time of his passing.
Elbert married Linda Lucas. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother and great friend to all that knew him. He loved playing bingo, but spending time with his grandbabies is what he enjoyed most.
He is survived by his loving wife, Linda lee of Whitesburg, Kentucky. A daughter, Angela (Andy) Cates of Whitesburg, Kentucky. Three sons, Elbert (Tammy) Lee of Colson, Kentucky and Rocky (Jessica) Lee of Whitesburg, Kentucky and Phillip (Donna) Hunt of Strausburg, Virginia. A sister, Doris Perry of Millstone, Kentucky.
Also surviving are ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
He is preceded in death by a daughter, Teresa Lynn Lee. A brother, Arthur Lee. A sister, Mary Caudill.
