Obituary for Efford Tackett
Efford Tackett, son of the late Simon and Victoria Newsome Tackett was born at Penny, Kentucky, August 1, 1934. He entered eternal life Sunday, January 20, 2019 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Hospital being 84 years, 5 months and 19 days of age at the time of his passing.
Efford married Yvonne Sexton, April 28, 1960. He was a US veteran having served in the United States Army. Efford was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and a great friend to all that knew him. He was a past little league coach for several sports.
He is survived by his loving wife, Yvonne Tackett of Colson, Kentucky. One son, Alan Duan Tackett of West Chester, Ohio.
Also surviving are four grandchildren, Bradley Alan Tackett, Ryan Alexander Tackett, Jacqulyn Alexa Tackett, Jason Adam Tackett and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Efford is preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.
