Obituary for Edna Tackett
Edna Tackett, daughter of Anna Williams and the late Lester J. Polly was born in Jenkins, Kentucky April 8, 1957. She entered eternal life Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at the Letcher Manor Nursing Home in Whitesburg, Kentucky being 61 years, 10 months and 28 days of age at the time of her passing.
Edna was married to the late Charles Tackett, he passed away April 9, 2017. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She loved decorating with roosters and apples. Edna attended the Seco Freewill Baptist Church.
She is survived by her mother, Anna Polly of Bill Moore Branch, Kentucky. Her loving son, Donnie (Bobbi) Polly of Bill Moore Branch, Kentucky. Four brothers; Donnie Harold Polly of Arkansas, Gary Polly of Vero Beach, Florida, Charlie Polly of Jenkins, Kentucky and Add Polly of Bill Moore Branch, Kentucky. Four sisters; Beulah Thomas of Seco, Kentucky, Velma Polly of Cromona, Kentucky, Dolly Fleming of Payne Gap, Kentucky and Georgia Harrod of Eminence, Kentucky.
Also surviving are three granchildren; Jacob Polly, Sarah Polly, Carly Polly and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Edna was preceded in death by three brothers; Kenneth Darrell Polly, Billy Wayne Polly and Earnest Polly.
