Obituary for Edna Carolyn Austin
Edna Carolyn Austin was born on September 11th 1946. She entered eternal life August 25 th, 2023 making her 76 years, 11 months and 14 days of age at the time of her passing. Edna is proceeded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, Franklin Red Austin, a son Franklin Howard Austin II, her parents, Martin and Margie Anderson, granddaughter, Carley Alyssa Austin France. She is survived by two sons, Wayne Austin (Missy) of Haymond, Kentucky and Kevin Austin (Jackie) of Millstone, Kentucky, a daughter Krista Akers (James) of Haymond Kentucky, five grandsons, Franklin Cody Wayne Austin of Haymond Kentucky, Harley Chase Caudill of Pippa Passes, Kentucky, Zach Bates of Millstone, Kentucky, Kameron Branham of Millstone Kentucky and C.J. Akers of Haymond, Kentucky, a great-grand daughter Jaydence Alexandrea France and a host of family and friends to mourn her passing.
Edna was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She loved cooking an baking, she also like making quilts and sewing. Edna loved being by her husbands side no matter what he was doing, "whether it would be working the farm to building their house" she was always by his side working as hard as he did. After 6 months of being without him here on earth she has returned to his side. Her greatest love was her family, and she was, definatley the greatest (MAMA BEAR) out there.
