Earlene Williams, daughter of the late Earlis and Mabel Whitaker Cornett, was born December 16, 1942 in Blackey, Kentucky. She passed away at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky being 79 years, 10 months and 25 days of age at the time of her passing.
Earlene married John Williams on October 23, 1965
in Blackey, Kentucky. He passed away March 30, 2014. She was a devout Christian who served the Lord in all she did and a member of the First Baptist Church in Whitesburg, Kentucky. She was a dedicated servant to her community as a city councilwoman for the City of Whitesburg, Kentucky.
She lived with a joyous heart in all she did and extended kindness and love to all who knew her. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend.
She is survived by her two loving daughters, Wendy (Claude) Little of Whitesburg, Kentucky and Nikki (Marcus) Bowling of Salvisa, Kentucky; a sister, Glenna Harris of Whitesburg, Kentucky; a sister-in-law, Edith Atcher of Lexington.
Also surviving are five grandchildren, Luke (Makayla) Little, Jake Bowling, Sam Little, Jonah Little and Josie Bowling; a nephew, Cory (Kelsey) Harris; a niece, Leah (Brandon) Craft; a great nephew, Carson Harris; two great-nieces, Kinslee Harris and Sadie Craft and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
