Obituary for Dr. Vincent C. Arroz
Dr. Vincent C. Arroz, son of the late Vincente and Emilia Claridad Arroz was born in the Phillipines on June 14, 1936. He entered eternal life Saturday, December 6, 2014 at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Health Care in Hazard, Kentucky being 78 years, 5 months and 22 days of age at the time of his passing. Vincent was married to Shirley Gilbert Arroz on August 31, 1968. Dr. Arroz had practiced medicine for 50 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and was an avid UK fan. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Arroz of Mayking, Kentucky. Three sons; Brian (Chanda) Arroz and Keith (Dana) Arroz both of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Erik Arroz of Mayking, Kentucky. One brother, Verne Arroz of San Francisco, California. Three sisters; Evelyn McCarthy of San Francisco, California; Estella Ramirez and Velva Piansay both of the Phillipines. Also surviving are four grandchildren; Chasen, Gracelyn, Laykin and Dylan and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Vincent was preceded in death by two sisters; Edith Simpson and Rufina Acma.
