Obituary for Douglas Ray Hall
Douglas Ray Hall, son of the late Jesse and Phoebe Blanton Hall Newsome was born in Fleming, Kentucky August 25, 1948. He entered eternal life Sunday, August 19, 2018 at his residence in Seco, Kentucky being 69 years, 11 months and 24 days of age at the time of his passing.
Douglas was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend to all that knew him. He was a veteran serving in the United States Air Force and was an avid U.K. Basketball fan.
He is survived by four daughters; Amanda Dawn Upshaw of Byron, Georgia, Donna Rae Moore of Macon, Georgia, Katrina Lynn Oliver of Warner Robins, Georgia and Leslie Hope Johns of Macon, Georgia. One son, Jesse Wayne Hall of Indiana. Six sisters; Tonda June Courson, Lily Greer and Angela Coleman all of Georgia, Vonda Martin of Liberty, Kentucky, Wendy Hall of Cumberland, Kentucky and Linia Quillen of Seco, Kentucky. Two step sisters; Rose Fields of Seco, Kentucky and Betty Anderson of Ohio.
Also surviving are 24 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Douglas was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Alanah Ray-Ann Hall. One brother, Billy Hall. Four sisters, Lucinda Hall, Jenny Kay, Crooms, Constance Hall and Kitten Newsome.
