Obituary for Donna Kay Bates
Donna Kay Bates, daughter of Jack Fields and the late Brenda Meade Fields was born at Whitesburg, Kentucky, April 20, 1968. She entered eternal life Thursday, June 29, 2023 at UK Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky being 55 years, 2 months and 9 days of age at the time of her passing.
Donnie married Sonny ''Bo Bo" Bates, August 26, 1985 at Seco, Kentucky. She was a loving mother, granddaughter, daughter and friend to all that knew her. Donna enjoyed working in her flowers and playing with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Sonny "Bo Bo" Bates of Thornton, Kentucky. Two daughters; Brittany (Jeremy) Maggard of Thornton, Kentucky and Amber (Neil) Caudill of Blackey, Kentucky. Her father, Jack Fields of Deane, Kentucky.
Also surviving are four grandchildren; B.J., Addison, Delilah, Logan and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Donna was preceded in death by a son, B.J. Bates and a sister, Tammy McCall.
