Obituary for Donald K. Banks
Donald Keith Banks, son of the late James Oscar and Emma Colwell Banks was born in Hazard, Kentucky December 30 ,1952. He entered eternal life Sunday, November 18, 2018 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky being 65 years, 10 months and 18 days of age at the time of his passing.
Donald was married to Brenda Dale Absher Banks for 41 years. He enjoyed fishing and was an avid UK fan. Donald was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to all that knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Dale Banks of Richmond, Kentucky. One daughter, Amy Banks of Richmond, Kentucky. Two brothers; Al Colwell of California and Lester Colwell of Louisville, Kentucky. Two sisters, Della Hall of Lancaster, Kentucky and Kathy Cornish of Louisville, Kentucky. A daughter-in-law, Jeanna Banks Gray of Richmond, Kentucky. A special friend, Donna Gray of Richmond, Kentucky.
Also surviving are six grandchildren; Makenzie Banks, Cameron Banks, Benjamin Holbrook, Conner Holbrook, Brandon Kendricks and Emma Kendricks. One great grandchild, Jaxton Banks and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Donald was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Banks.
