Obituary for Dennis Hall
Dennis Hall, son of the late William and Judy Wilson Hall, was born in Perry County, Kentucky, March 10, 1937. He entered eternal life Thursday, June 20, 2013 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center in Hazard, kentucky being 76 years, 3 months, and 10 days of age at the time of his passing. Dennis was married to Linda Pennington Hall for 53 years and even though they had no children, he was loved by a host of nieces and nephews. He was a generous and humble man and loved doing yard work for the elderly. A hard working man, he was devoted to his home, wife and his farm animals. He loved horses and had one most of his life. He and Linda also enjoyed their dogs, Dino, Taz, and Rocky, and at the present time, Bonnie, a miniature Poodle. As a boy, he acquired the nickname "Fish" because he stole some fish. He will be greatly missed by his family, his neighbors and his church family at the Millstone Missionary Baptist Church and his loving wife. He is survived by his wife, Linda Pennington Hall of Thornton, Kentucky. Two sisters: Billy Jean Hall of Bonnyman, Kentucky, and Dessie Hammons of Springfield, Ohio; a special nephew, Jack (Verna) McIntyre of Hazard, Kentucky whom he loved as a brother. The last three months of his life was were spent in the hospital and nursing home and seeing Jack always brought a smile on his face. Dennis, was preceded in death by three brothers, Henry Hall, Everett "Teb" Hall and Arnold Hall; two sisters: Maggie York and Eugene "tootsie" Farler; and his mother-in-law, Dora Pennington, whom he and Linda cared for in her home until death.
