Obituary for Della "Mary" Brown
Della "Mary" Brown, daughter of the late Elijah and Tisha Quillen Wright was born November 23, 1930 in Beefhide, Kentucky. She entered eternal life Monday, October 31, 2022 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky being 91 years, 11 months and 8 days of age at the time of her passing. Mary married Milton Brown December 19, 1946. He passed away December 24, 1983. She was a member of the Burdine Church Of God Of Prophecy. Mary was an amazing cook. She enjoyed going to church, praying, taking care of potted flowers and spending time with her family and friends. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all that knew her. She is survived by two loving daughters; Dinah "Terry" Wright of Mooresburg, Tennessee and Irma Lee Hall of Morristown, Tennessee. Five grandchildren; Roger Wright, Mary Lynn Tinsley, Craig Hall, Karla Nuckles and Angela Shaffer. Also surviving are 13 great-grandchildren, 1 great- great grandchild, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. She was preceded in death by six brothers; Oscar Wright, Aster Wright, Herman Wright, Charlie Wright and Donnie Wright and Arlin Wright. Three sisters; Alma Esders, Bessie Stewart and Flora Rose.
