Obituary for Debbie Bates Eldridge
Debbie Bates Eldridge, daughter of the late John W. and Thelma Day Bates was born at Whitesburg, Kentucky, October 29, 1951. She entered eternal life Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Hospital in Hazard, Kentucky being Seventy years, three months and four days of age at the time of her passing.
Debbie was married to the late Irvin Eldridge, he passed away June 2015. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and great friend to all that knew her. Debbie was a member of the Whiteburg City Council, VFW, Ladies Auxillary, ICAN, Whitesburg Eastern Star Chapter Matt Hester Post # 54.
She is survived by five sons, Todd (Kim) Eldridge of Sharpsburg, Kentucky, Roger (Debbie) Eldridge of Whitesburg, Kentucky, Robert (Ann) Eldridge of Hyden, Kentucky, Donnie Eldridge of Lafayette, Indiana, Troy Eldridge of of Salem, Indiana, two brothers, Jesse (Stella) Bates of Whitesburg, Kentucky and Greg Lucas of London, Kentucky, two sisters, Joyce Daniels of Pikeville, Kentucky and Pat Black of Columbus, Kentucky.
Also surviving are nine grandchildren, Becky, Tori, Cheyenne, Cody, Chase, Candy, Roger, Irvin, Charlie, five great-grandchildren, Payton, Kayla, Anna, Keaston, Hayley and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
