Obituary for David Mullins
David Mullins, son of the late John Harrison Mullins and Vegre Johnson Mullins was born July 28, 1949 in Martin, Kentucky. He entered eternal life Sunday, September 13, 2020 at the Bristol Regional Medical Center in Bristol, Tennessee being 71 years, 1 month and 29 days of age at the time of his passing.
David married Linda Vanover February 19, 1972 in Pound, Virginia. He later married Josephine Mullins August 16, 2009 in Sandlick, Kentucky. She passed away January 8, 2018. David enjoyed gardening and going to church, praising the lord and rejoicing. He also loved talking to people and having a good laugh. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend to all that knew him.
He is survived by a wife, Linda Vanover of Johnson City, Tennessee. Two daughters; Leslie Ann Mullins of Johnson City, Tennessee and Heather Renae (Scott) Ludwikowski of Wise, Virginia. Ten sisters; Annie Fleming of Warrenville, South Carolina, Marie Stewart of Lorain, Ohio, Moreen Tolliver of Dean, Kentucky, Beverly Wright of McRoberts, Kentucky, Ella Ritenour of Lorain, Ohio and Rose Gibson of Sneedville, Tennessee, Diane McCall of Somerset, Kentucky, Donna Waters and Debbie Tyree both of Cummings, Georgia.
Also surviving are three grandchildren, Grace, Faith, Hope and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by a son, David Coots Jr.. Six brothers; Claude Mullins, Burnice Mullins, Logan Mullins, Charlie Mullins, Ray Mullins and John Junior Mullins. One sister, Opal Fouts.
