Obituary for David E. Fisher
David E. Fisher, son of the late James Leroy and Arizona Brummitt Fisher was born November 22, 1950 at Kone, Kentucky. He entered eternal life Saturday, January 22, 2022 at the Greg Noreen Wells Hospice Center in Hazard, Kentucky being 71 years, 2 months of age at the time of his passing.
David married Catherine Joann Dille June 20, 1981. He was a Vietnam veteran having served in the United States Army. David was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and great friend to all that knew him and also was an avid race car fan.
He is survived by his wife Catherine Joan Fisher of Whitesburg, Kentucky, three sons, David E. (Rachel) Fisher II of Oklahoma, Timothy (Angie) Borkowski, Christopher Borkowski both of South Bend, Indiana, a daughter, Jamie Borkowski of South Bend, Indiana, three brothers, Bobby Fisher, Chris Fisher both of Whitesburg, Kentucky and James Allen Fisher of South Bend, Indiana, two sister, Kathleen Betchel and Wilma Fisher both of South Bend, Indiana.
Also surviving are 8 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
David was preceded in death in death by a grandson, Devin Borkowski, a brother William Leroy Fisher, a sister, Barbara Louise Betchel.
