Obituary David "DJ" Cornett Jr., son of David Cornett, Sr. and Carolyn Sue Martin Cornett was born in Indiana July 12, 1969. He entered eternal life Monday, July 22, 2013 at his residence in Colson, Kentucky being 44 years and 10 days of age at the time of his passing. David was married to Stephanie Renee Bates. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, but most of all spending time with his kids. He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Renee Cornett of Colson, Kentucky. His parents, David and Sue Cornett of Jenkins, Kentucky. Four sons; Dawson Cornett of Colson, Kentucky, Derek Cornett, Austin Cornett and Lane Cornett all of Mayking, Kentucky. A daughter, Hali Cornett of Colson, Kentucky. One brother, Bob Cornett of Jenkins, Kentucky. One sister, Drenda Cornett of Whitesburg, Kentucky. His in-laws, Kenny and Madonna Bates of Colson, Kentucky. Also surviving are a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
