Danny Ray Hughes, son of the late Riley and Norma Gimes Hughes was born April 28, 1954 in Whitesburg, Kentucky. He entered eternal life on Friday, November 8, 2024 at the Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, Kentucky being 70 years, 6 months and 10 days of age at the time of is his passing.
Danny was married to the late Stacy Ann Perry Hughes, she passed away October 6, 2023. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother and great friend to all that knew him. Danny enjoyed working on vehicles.
He is survived by a loving son, Brandon (Emily) Holland of Millstone, Kentucky, three loving daughters, Hailey Hughes of Whitesburg, Kentucky, Brandie (Patrick McBee) Hughes of Millstone, Kentucky and Ruby (James) Marcum of Kingscreek, Kentucky, a sister, Donna Sue Hughes of Kentucky.
Also surviving are eight grandchildren, Aron Brown, Ethan Brown, Dylan Brown, Kelsie Cornett, Jeanna Roark, Austin Profitt, Lucah Holland, Alexis Brown, four great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Danny was preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Hughes, three brothers, Bob Hughes, Hargus Hughes and Billie Jean Hughes, six sisters, Pauline Hughes, Faye Jent, Anna Ruth Donnell, Donna Edwards, Alice Perry and Fronda Wright.
