Obituary for Danny Ray Hollenbeck
Danny Ray Hollenbeck, son of the late Ishmael and Beulah Sturgill Hollenbeck Johnson was born February 19, 1956 in Norton, Virginia. He entered eternal life Friday, July 23, 2021 at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Healthcare Hospital in Hazard, Kentucky being 65 years, 5 months and 4 days of age at the time of his passing.
Danny was married to Barbara Jo Parrott Hollenbeck. She passed away in November of 2019. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend to all that knew him.
He is survived by two sons; Christopher Hollenbeck of Mayking, Kentucky and Derek (Jessica) Hollenbeck of Portland, Tennessee. Two brothers; Mike Hollenbeck of Mayking, Kentucky and James Johnson of Cowan, Kentucky. Five grandchildren; Abby, Lindsey, D.J., Austin and Joseph.
Also surviving are a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by a son, Shawn Daniel Hollenbeck.
