Obituary for Daniel Sandlin
Daniel Sandlin, son of the late Johnny and Marie Adams Sandlin was born at Whitesburg, Kentucky, April 13, 1942. He entered eternal life Monday, March 20, 2017 at the Whitesburg Appalachian regional Hospital in Whitesburg, Kentucky being 74 years, 11 months and 7 days of age at the time of his passing.
Daniel was married to the late Anna Sue Slone Sandlin. She passed away February 9, 2017. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother and a great friend to all that knew him.
He is survived by his two sons, Daniel Ray Sandlin and Steve Allen Sandlin both of Dryfork, Kentucky. One daughter, Deborah Kay Maggard of Cowan, Kentucky. One brother, Doc Sandlin of Hindman, Kentucky. Five grandchildren, Brian, Jody, Jeremy, Kimberly and Heather.
Also surviving are 10 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Daniel was preceded in death by a son, Darriel Dwayne Sandlin. Two brothers, Elijah and Bill Sandlin. Three sisters, Wilma West, Martha Landrom and Mageline Mullins.
