Obituary for Clinton Adams
Clinton Adams, son of the late Millard and Janie Adams was born November 29, 1923 in Letcher County, Kentucky. He entered eternal life Sunday, June 14, 2015 at the Whitesburg ARH Hospital in Whitesburg, Kentucky being 91 years, 6 months and 16 days of age at the time of his passing. Clinton married Margaret Watts Adams who preceded him in death June 23, 2007. He later married Ida Goodlett Adams. He was a World War II veteran, having served in the U.S. Army 5th division under General George Patton. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge Lonesome Pine in Neon, Kentucky. He enjoyed watching U.K. Basketball and working. He is survived by his wife, Ida Adams of McRoberts, Kentucky. Three daughters; Teddie (Gomer) Adams Sexton of Colson, Kentucky, Alice Jane Adams Potter of McRoberts, Kentucky and Carolyn (Vernon) Fleming of Wise, Virginia. One sister, Gracie Sanders of Columbus, Ohio. Three grandchildren; Gomer Steven Sexton, Anna M. Morton and Kenny Potter. Four great grandchildren; Natisha, Ashley, Steven and Sarah. Four great- great grandchildren; Ariel, Preston, Madelyn and Arianna. Also surviving are a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. He was preceded in death by a wife, Margaret Watts Adams. A son, Clinton Adams Jr.. Two sisters; Beatrice Bentley and Frona Byrd. Three brothers; Junior Adams, Walton Adams and TroLuis Adams.
