Obituary for Cleve Collins
Cleve Collins of Little Colley, peacefully passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2023. He was born on August 29, 1922 and was 100 years, 9 months and 11 days of age at the time he went home to be with his savior Jesus Christ. Cleve was a Christian and a member of the Isom Presbyterian Church. He lived his life with strong faith. He was a retired school teacher and a World War II Army Veteran who proudly served his country.
Cleve is survived by his wife of 76 years, Dorie Mae Collins. Two sons; Alfred (Edith) Collins, Stephen and a daughter, Gwen.
He was a grandpa to A.J. Collins, Stephanie Collins Maggard, Shannon Collins Branham, Brian Stephen Collins, William Irvin Collins, Mark Allen Collins and Brooklynn Shae Collins. He was a great grandpa to Savann Collins, Hanna Maggard, Sawyer Collins, William Collins, Cruz Collins, Ballard Quentin Branham, Annabella Dove Branham and great great grandpa of Lila Grace Collins.
Cleve was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Marie. Three brothers; Bob, Charles, and George. Three sisters; Mary Collier, Mandy Kiser and Esma Couch.
