Obituary for Clark Evans Baker
Clark Evans Baker, son of the late Millard and Easter Sexton Baker was born in Letcher County, Kentucky June 30, 1937. He entered eternal life Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at his residence in Thornton, Kentucky being 74 years, 8 months and 28 days of age at the time of his passing. Clark was a member of the Millstone Missionary Baptist Church and a member of the United Auto Workers. He enjoyed traveling, shooting pool, and spending time with his family and friends. Clark is survived by five brothers: Rick Baker of Vermillion, Ohio; Alan Baker of Lorain, Ohio; Gary Baker of Pensacola, Florida; Scott Baker of Concord, North Carolina; and Kevin Baker of Vermillion, Ohio. Two daughters: Gwen Courtney of Vandalia, Ohio and Brooke Baker of Whitesburg, Kentucky. Five brothers: Ray Baker of Thornton, Kentucky; Ottis Baker of Coleman, Alabama; Bo Baker of Thornton, Kentucky; Joe Baker of Coleman Alabama and Sydney Baker of Payne Gap, Kentucky. Five sisters; Lou Cook of Dry; Ritter Wynn of Thornton, Kentucky; Sherry Dyer of Colson, Kentucky; Mildred Faye Hurley of Pikeville, Kentucky and Sue Fering of Tennessee. Also surviving are thirteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Clark was preceded in death by one sister, Wanda Baker.
