Obituary for Chester Amburgey
Chester Amburgey, son of the late Ballard and Anna Hughes Amburgey was born in Letcher County, Kentucky August 3, 1953. He entered eternal life Sunday, August 12, 2012 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Hospital being 59 years and 9 days of age at the time of his passing. Chester married to Deloris Logan on April 26, 1975. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife Deloris Amburgey of Colson, Kentucky. Three sons; Steven (Shell) Amburgey; Robbie (Wava) Amburgey and Jeffrey Boo Boo ( Jessica) all of Colson, Kentucky. One sister, Lula Gibson of Mallie, Kentucky. Special sister-in-laws, Vonda (Mark) Lowe and Evelyn (Swab) Collins. Brother-In- Law, David Logan. Mother-In-Law, Linda Humphrey and Father-In-Law, Edward (Carla) Logan. Also surviving are two grandsons; Jonathan and Austin, a special friend, Charlene Anderson, and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Chester was preceded in death by a brother, Richmond Amburgey. Three sisters; Bobby Jean, Viola and Rachel. A Brother-In- Law, Mallie Gibson.
