Obituary for Charlie Hatton
Charlie Hatton, son of the late Jesse and Pearlie Bailey Hatton was born in Letcher County, Kentucky March 24, 1931. He entered eternal life Sunday, January 20, 2013 at the Greg & Noreen Hospice Center in Hazard, Kentucky being 81 years, 10 months and 20 days of age at the time of his passing. Charlie married Aggie Lou Niece December 13, 1952 in Ludlow, Kentucky. She passed away October 3, 2012. He was a member of the Whitesburg VFW Post # 5829 and Whitco Pentecostal Church in Whitco, Kentucky. He was a retired Coal miner and a veteran serving in the United States Army. He enjoyed many things, but spending time with his family and friends is what he enjoyed most. He is survived by his loving four daughters, Delana Caudill of Whitco, Kentucky, Carolyn and husband Calvin Coots of Viper, Kentucky, Sabrina Hatton and Brooke Hatton both of Whitesburg, Kentucky. Three sons; Roger and wife Ida Hatton of Whitco, Kentucky, Charles and wife Effie Hatton of Letcher, Kentucky and Denny Ray Hatton of Whitco, Kentucky. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. He is preceded in death by four brothers; Marion, Elbert, Herbie and Troy Kelly Hatton. Three sisters; Tressie Banks, Myrtle Thomas and Bessie Niece. One grandchild, Jessica Coots.
