Charlene Anderson, daughter of Novella Banks Sturgill Halcomb and the late Monroe Sturgill was born at Jenkins, Kentucky, April 10, 1958. She entered eternal life Friday, January 19, 2018 at Deane, Kentucky being 59 years, 9 months and 9 days of age at the time of her passing.
Charlene was a loving mother, daughter, grandmother, sister and friend to all that knew her.
She is survived by her mother, Novella Halcomb of Thornton, Kentucky. Step father, Herbert Halcomb of Thornton, Kentucky. Three daughters; Herchella (William) Amburgey of Whitesburg, Kentucky, Ida Gail (Daniel) Adams of Thornton, Kentucky and Wendy Hatton of Whitesburg, Kentucky. One brother, Loren Sturgill of Whitesburg, Kentucky. Two sisters; Gail Sturgill of Whitesburg, Kentucky and Tracy Johnson of Big Stone Gap, Virginia.
Also surviving are 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, one on the way and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
