Obituary for Carl Parrott
Carl Parrott, son of the late Silas and Callie Bentley Parrott was born in Whitesburg, Kentucky August 20, 1922. He entered eternal life Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at the Letcher Manor Nursing Home in Whitesburg, Kentucky being 94 years, 11 months and 26 days of age at the time of his passing.
Carl was married to the late Lola Beatrice Trent Parrott. She passed away January 11, 2002. He was a member of the Millstone Methodist Church. Carl was a loving father, grandfather and friend to all that knew him. He enjoyed singing and playing his guitar.
He is survived by two sons; Jimmy Carl (Tony) Parrott of Whitesburg, Kentucky and Silas Paul (Vicky) Parrott of Jenkins, Kentucky. Five daughters; Glenda (Tom) Odell of Cincinnati, Ohio; Sharon Amburgey of Whitesburg, Kentucky, Sherry (Steve) Weatherbee of Portland, Tennessee, Barbara Jo (Danny) Hollenbeck and Rhonda (William) Cook both of Mayking, Kentucky.
Also surviving are 20 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Carl was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.
