Obituary for Bonnie Holbrook
Bonnie Holbrook, daughter of the late Henry and Nannie Tolliver Duncil was born in Letcher County, Kentucky October 24, 1922. She entered eternal life Thursday, July 4, 2013 at her residence in Whitesburg, Kentucky being 90 years, 8 months, and 10 days of age at the time of her passing. Bonnie was married to the late Rufus Holbrook, he passed away January 2001. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Whitesburg, Kentucky. Bonnie was owner and operator of the Parkway Motel and the former owner of the H & D Coal Company. She was a loving mother, gandmother, sister and a great friend to all that knew her and she was a very giving person. She is survived by her two loving daughters, Juda Hall and husband Charles of Hazard, Kentucky, and Charlotte Holbrook of Whitesburg, Kentucky. Two sisters; Mollie Caudill of Thornton, Kentucky and Ann Marable of Harrigate, Tennessee. Two grandchildren, Greg Hall and wife Karen and Michell Hardy and husband Bart both of Hazard, Kentucky. Six great-grandchildren ; Jordon, Mack, Logan, Blayne, Hunter and Colton. Also surviving area host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Bonnie was preceded in death by a sister, Macie Warf, Four brothers; Raymond Duncil, Melvin Duncil, Judd Duncil, and Ellis Duncil.
