Billy Ray Stewart, son of the late George Washington Stewart and Reva Gilley Stewart was born April 22, 1943 in Harlan, Kentucky. He entered eternal life Saturday, December 26, 2020 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Healthcare Hospital being 77 years, 8 months and 4 days of age at the time of his passing.
He enjoyed gardening and always helping people with anything they need. He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and friend to all that knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Hughes of Isom, Kentucky. One son, George Stewart of Beattyville, Kentucky. One daughter, Candi (Jimmy) Michelle Stewart of Isom, Kentucky. One brother, Roger Stewart of Red Fox, Kentucky. One sister, Judith Katherine Everidge of Red Fox, Kentucky. A special niece, Sherry Sturgill of Whitesburg, Kentucky. A special dog, Phobe.
Also surviving are a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by a stepson; Mark Hughes. And several brothers and sisters.
