Betty Sue Maggard, daughter of Johnnie Maggard and the late Anna Lee Yeary Maggard was born June 7, 1954 in Eolia, Kentucky. She entered eternal life Friday, January 19, 2018 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Center in Hazard, Kentucky being 63 years, 7 months and 12 days of age at the time of her passing.
She was married to Bernice Maggard who preceded her in death on November 23, 2012. She was a loving mother, daughter, grandmother, sister and friend to all that knew her.
She is survived by her father, Johnnie Maggard of Eolia, Kentucky. Two sons; Timothy (Heather) Maggard of Eolia, Kentucky and Kevin (Tasha) Maggard of Eolia, Kentucky. Three daughters; Patty (Jessee) Shortt of Hickory, North Carolina, Terry (Jimmy) Niece of Eolia, Kentucky and Amanda (Bobby) Brock of Eolia, Kentucky. One brother, Johnny Maggard Jr. of Eolia, Kentucky. Five sisters, Shirley Maggard of Neon, Kentucky, Joyce Cornett of Eolia, Kentucky, Tootsie King of Eolia, Kentucky, Darlene Rose of Pound, Virginia and Jewell McFall of Deane, Kentucky.
Also surviving are eleven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Timothy Maggard Jr..
