Obituary for Betty Ruth Madden

Ruth Madden, daughter of the late William and Mary Allen Gibson was born at Hot Spot, Kentucky, April 26, 1952. She entered eternal life Friday, September 16, 2022 at her residence at Isom, Kentucky being 70 years, 4 months and 20 days of age at the time of her passing. Betty was a loving mother, grandmother and friend to all that knew her. She was married to the late Allen "Big Rock" Madden Sr., June 13, 1970. He passed away January 29, 2021. She is survived by a son, Allen (Sandra) Madden Jr. of Isom, Kentucky. Two daughters; Belinda (Charles Ritchie) of Isom, Kentucky and Goldie (Glen) Baker of Morenci, Arizona. Two sisters; Wanda Fields of Berea, Kentucky and Patty Gentry of Winchester, Kentucky. Five brothers; Tommy Gibson of Isom, Kentucky, Boyd Gibson of Isom, Kentucky, Winston Gibson of Isom, Kentucky, Luther Gibson of Isom, Kentucky, Bennett Gibson of Red Fox, Kentucky. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. She was preceded in death by two brothers; John R. Gibson and Clarence Gibson. A sister, Goldie Tyree.
