Obituary for Betsy Lee McClain
Betsy Lee McClain, daughter of the late Willis Lee Gibson and Irene Jones Caudill of Letcher County, Kentucky was born on November 14, 1949 in Whitesburg, Kentucky. She entered eternal life on April 3, 2014 being 64 years, 4 months and 19 days of age at the time of her passing. She married Wendell McClain in August of 1963, whom preceded her in death on September 13, 1997. She enjoyed many things, but spending time with her family and friends is what she enjoyed most. She is survived by six sons; Robert (Georginne) McClain of Caudill Town, Kentucky, Wendell (Cynthia) McClain of Sandlick, Kentucky, Timothy (Tonya) McClain of Bottom Fork, Kentucky, Jonathan (Mary) McClain of Littlle Colly, Kentucky, Coy (Jeanette) McClain of Thornton, Kentucky, Jeffery (Katie) McClain of Thornton, Kentucky. Two daughters; Myrtle Ann (Billy) Shepherd of Sandlick, Kentucky, Tammy Irene (Shawn) Webb of Richmond, Kentucky. Two brothers; Michael Kiser of Virginia and Terry Kiser of Pistol City, Kentucky. Five Sisters; Lucy Ayers of Little Colly, Kentucky, Katy Stephens of Little Colly, Kentucky, Vesta Mae Hall of Whitesburg, Kentucky, Pam Kiser of Colson, Kentucky and Louise Pike of Little Colly, Kentucky. Also surviving are 20 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. She was preceded in death by one son, Buford Eugene McClain. One sister, Phyllis Ann Hall.
