Obituary for Betsy Lee Bailey
Betsy Lee Bailey, daughter of the late Howard and Opal Madden Bailey was born February 5, 1953 in Whitesburg, Kentucky. She entered eternal life Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at the Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem, North Carolina being 71 years, 4 months and 7 days of age at the time of her passing.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all that knew her. She enjoyed going fishing and spending time with her family.
She is survived by two sons; Joseph Hall of High Point, North Carolina and James M. Hall of Stoneville, North Carolina. One daughter, Alethea Murdock of Cartersville, Georgia. One brother, Mose Bailey of Harriman, Tennessee. One sister, Nancy Bailey of Thomasville, North Carolina. Four grandchildren; Brittany, Hannah, Katelyn and Elizabeth.
Also surviving are a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Ally. Five brothers; Raymond, Earl, Roscoe, Jay and Ernest. Four sisters; Liza Jean, Lulabell, Linda Mae and Matilda.
