Bernice Polly, daughter of the late Arnold Sturgill and Martha Jane Lewis Sturgill was born at Hyden, Kentucky February 27, 1963. She entered eternal life Thursday, August 20, 2026 at her residence at Mayking, Kentucky being 63 years, 5 months and 3 days of age at the time of her passing.
Bernice was married to Tony Polly, July 4, 1994. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all that knew her. Bernice loved animals and was a God fearing Christian and faithful to God.
She is survived by a loving daughter, Destiny Polly of Mayking, Kentucky. One son, Daniel Spangler of Mayking, Kentucky. Three sisters: Beulah Maggard and Inez Maggard of London, Kentucky and Ethel Hall of Cromona, Kentucky.
Also surviving are five grandchildren: Kealan, Mason, Stormie, Avery and Gage and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
