Obituary for Beatrice Banks Tuttle
Beatrice Banks Tuttle, daughter of the late Ochra and Della Amburgey Sexton was born at Colson, Kentucky, April 17, 1920. She entered eternal life Monday, June 13, 2016 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Center in Hazard, Kentucky being 96 years, 1 month and 26 days of age at the time of her passing.
Beatrice was married to the late Joseph Banks, he passed away in 1974. She later married the late William Tuttle. Beatrice was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all that knew her.
She is survived by two sons; Roger (Irene) Banks of Colson, Kentucky and Joseph (Soraya) Banks Jr. of Hustonville, Kentucky. Four daughters; Stella Mae Lloyd of Owensboro, Kentucky, Emma Jean (Charles) Deaton of Jackson, Kentucky, Jewelene (Michael) King of Florence, Kentucky and Veletta (Willie) Martin of Colson, Kentucky. One brother, John (Lorene) Sexton of Isom, Kentucky. Three sisters; Yvonne (Effort) Tackett, Ann Thomas and Alice Mason of Colson, Kentucky.
Also surviving are 18 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Beatrice was preceded in death by a son, Rabon Banks. Six brothers; Cecil, Leander, Lenville, Landon, Charles and Bradley. Two sisters; Marie Adams and Arlene McCulough.
