Obituary for Barbara "Nickle" Diane Hollon
Barbara Diane "Nickle" Hollon, daughter of the late Richard Lester Boyd Jr. and Wilma Jean Fields Boyd was born April 26, 1965 in Whitesburg, Kentucky. She entered eternal life Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Kentucky being 58 years, 7 months and 3 days of age at the time of her passing.
Barbara was married to Willie Hollon April 28, 1989. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all that knew her. Barbara enjoyed camping and playing with her doggies.
She is survived by her husband, Willie "Billy" Hollon of Ermine, Kentucky. One son, Charles "CW" (Eula) Hollon of Isom, Kentucky. Three daughters; Jessica (Rocky) Lee of Whitesburg, Kentucky, Rebecca (Chris) Adams of Cowan, Kentucky and Rachel (Clayton) Jenkins of Jenkins, Kentucky. One brother, Richard "Bub" (Lucy) Boyd of Florence, Kentucky. One sister, Melody (Charles) Isom of Whitesburg, Kentucky.
Also surviving are eight grandchildren; Ruthie, Isabella, Terra, Kandis, Clay, Will, Chase, Kahlan. Two great grandchildren; River and Kai.
Barbara was preceded in death by a sister, Pamela "Penny" Troel.
