Obituary for Arthur Adams
Arthur Adams, son of the late Ben A. Adams and Arlena Craft Adams was born at Mayking, Kentucky December 19, 1926. He entered eternal life Friday, December 25, 2015 at Hazard Appalachian Regional Hospital being 89 years and 6 days of age at the time of his passing. Arthur was married to Mary Jane Williams Adams, December 26, 1959. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the United States Army. Arthur was a loving husband, father, grandfather and a great friend to all that knew him. He was a retired school teacher in which he taught 26 years. He was also a former basketball coach and was an avid UK basketball fan. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Jane Adams of Mayking, Kentucky. Two sons; Michael (Ruth Ann) Adams of Versailles, Kentucky and Mark (Marcela) Adams of Charlotte, North Carolina. One daughter, Laura (Michael) Lin if Winchester, Kentucky. Five granchildren; Elyse, Benjamin, Charles, William and James. Also surviving are a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
