Obituary for Arlene Fleming
Arlene Bell Hunsucker Fleming left this world to go to heaven on Monday, December 19, 2022. She was born on March 3, 1948 to Arlen and Cassie Bell Hunsucker. Arlene was a devoted wife, mother and nanny.
In 1964 Arlene married Joseph Fleming and they enjoyed 58 years together raising their five children and sharing a wonderful life. She loved reading, fishing and spending time outside.
Surviving are her husband, Joe, Two sons, Mark (Mary) Fleming of Chattanooga, Tennessee and Billy Fleming of White Pine, Tennessee. Three daughters, Vickie (Chad) Wright of Jenkins, Kentucky, Sandy (Frank) Short of Fleming Neon, Kentucky and Dana (Chris) Hamilton of Wheelersburg, Ohio. Also surviving are eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. The family suggested that memorial contributions in Arlene's name be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Memorial Giving 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN. 38105. Arlene embraced their motto: "Be kind to everyone. Kindness is the greatest gift you can give and it's free."
