Obituary for Arbutis Brown
Arbutis "Pete" Brown, daughter of the late James and Grace Hicks Looney was born at Seco, Kentucky, August 31, 1929. She entered eternal life Sunday, November 29, 2015 at her residence at Seco, Kentucky being 86 years, 2 months and 29 days of age at the time of her passing. Pete was married to the late Edward Brown he passed away February 14, 1975. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend to all that knew her. Pete enjoyed fishing, working in her flower garden and sewing. She is survived by three daughters; Carol Pilkenton of Pound, Virginia, Theresa Pilkenton of Seco, Kentucky and Shelia Johnson of Jenkins, Kentucky.One Son,James Ervin Brown of Jenkins,Kentucky. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Pete was preceded in death by a son, Gary Edward Brown and several brothers and sisters.
