Anthony Paul Phillips, son of Clinton and Geraldine Hayes Phillips of Clintwood, Virginia was born in Norton, Virginia on January 1, 1977. He entered eternal life Monday, April 13, 2020 at his residence in Whitesburg, Kentucky being 43 years, 3 months and 13 days of age at the time of his passing.
Anthony loved going to church and singing gospel music. He always enjoyed traveling and meeting new people where ever he went. He was a loving father, son, brother, uncle and friend to all that knew him.
He is survived by his parents; Clinton and Geraldine Phillips. A precious daughter; Kayla Phillips of Clintwood, Virginia. One brother; Matthew (Elizabeth) Fleming of Clintwood, Virginia. One sister; Sandy (Rob) Powers of Charleston, West Virginia. Two nieces; Mattie (Robert) Fleming, Amethyst Powers. One nephew; Jeremiah (Chelsey) Powers. One great niece; Season Stidham. Two great nephews; Ezekial Powers and Uriah Young.
Also surviving are a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; James and Carrie Hayes. Paternal grandparents; Leroy and Dollie Phillips. One brother; Jason Phillips. One nephew; Isaiah Fleming. A special friend, Jason Brown.
