Obituary for Anita Cornett
Anita Cornett, daughter of the late Leonard and Wanda Brock Adams was born at Millstone, Kentucky, May 7, 1944. She entered eternal life Friday, February 16, 2018 at the Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, Kentucky being 73 years, 9 months and 9 days of age at the time of her passing.
Anita was married to the late Daniel "Dan" Cornett, December 2, 1965. He passed away April 16, 2006. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all that knew her.
She is survived by her two sons; Danny Cornett of Whitesburg, Kentucky and William John (Tristy) Cornett of Whitesburg, Kentucky. One sister, Monica Carter of of Apollo Beach, Florida. Four grandchildren; Kelsie Cornett of Whitesburg, Kentucky, William Day of West Virginia, Justin Bowling and Conner Bowling of Whitesburg, Kentucky.
Also surviving are a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Anita was preceded in death by a brother, J.L. Adams and one sister, Elizabeth Trent.
