Obituary for Amy Michelle Lockwood
Amy Michelle Lockwood, daughter of Alice Lockwood of Payne Gap, Kentucky and the late Thomas Lockwood was born March 14, 1979 in Elyria, Ohio. She entered eternal life Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at the Ballad Health Norton Community Hospital in Norton, Virginia being 45 years, 2 months and 28 days of at the time of her passing.
Amy enjoyed fishing, camping and going fishing with her grandbabies. She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend to all that knew her.
She is survived by her mother, Alice Lockwood of Payne Gap, Kentucky. Two sons; Logan Thomas Lockwood Hampton of Whitesburg, Kentucky, Korey Chase Hampton of Big Stone Gap, Virginia. Two daughters; Brook M. Hampton of Jenkins, Kentucky and Sophia Rhianna Starr Hampton of Pound, Virginia. One sister, Abigail Lockwood of Payne Gap, Kentucky. Eight grandchildren; Kasey, Alaina, Meredith, Mallory, Charleigh, Miles and Parker. A nephew, Alex Hiatt of Payne Gap, Kentucky.
Also surviving are a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Ellie Mae Meade.
