Obituary for Aggie Hatton
Aggie Lou Niece Hatton, daughter of the late Dennis and Edna Brock Niece was born in Letcher County, Kentucky, March 1, 1937. She entered eternal life Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Hospital being 75 years, 7 months and 2 days of age at the time of her passing. Aggie was married to Charlie Hatton, December 13, 1952 in Ludlow, Kentucky. She was a member of the Whitco Pentecostal Church at Whitesburg, Kentucky for 17 years. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family and friends. Aggie was a cook for 20 years at Carolyn's Diner in Whitesburg, Kentucky. She is survived by her husband, Charlie Hatton of Whitco, Kentucky. Three sons: Roger Hatton (Ida) of Whitco, Kentucky; Charles Hatton (Effie) of Letcher, Kentucky and Denny Ray Hatton of Whitco, Kentucky. Four daughters: Delana Caudill of Whitco, Kentucky; Carolyn Coots (Calvin) of Viper, Kentucky; Sabrina Hatton and Brooks Hatton of Whitesburg, Kentucky. Four brothers: Carfa Niece of Whitco, Kentucky; Chester Niece and Jimmy Niece of Whitesburg, Kentucky and Ralph Niece of Eolia, Kentucky. Four sisters: Henrietta Absher and Joyce Standifer of Whitco, Kentucky, Janice McKnight of Whitesburg, Kentucky and Juanita Adams of Indianapolis, Indiana. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Aggie was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jessica Coots. A brother, Edward "Bud" Niece. Two sisters: Mae Hatton and Maxine Dollarhide.
